We caught up with Houdah Al-Hakim from Quick Click Security to find out all about their experience on cohort 2 of the accelerator.
“Joining the programme was hands down the best business decision I made”
– Houdah Al-Hakim
Business Overview
Quick Click Security is an online platform that centralises access to security jobs, training and candidates. It provides a free and easy to use tool for all parties working in, or related to, the security industry. This global platform aims to connect the industry as well as drive and improve standards and accountability across the security industry.
Why Join the Accelerator
We in Social Tech is designed to help businesses at any stage accelerate their understanding and ability to structure, manage and grow. The programme provides an incredible support net to learn and grown as both a businessperson and as a tech entrepreneur. I was attracted by the combination of weekly workshops, mentors and support from your very own cohort. The assistance in analysing and evaluating all the key areas of your business, from sales and marketing planning through to what financial assistance is best for you, allows you to create a solid foundation on which to springboard from.
Benefits of the accelerator:
Programme and Workshops
The resources, workshops, mentors and support from the cohort have all helped me progress tenfold, compared with what I could have achieved by myself. I developed strategies for finance, data and marketing in the space of a couple of months. Having an office workspace has been invaluable too.
Mentoring:
I received help in getting investment ready and support to create my pitch deck, financial forecasts and business plan, which was invaluable. If you have big ambitions for your business then this is the perfect programme to help you achieve your next business milestones.
We in Social Tech is an innovative accelerator, set-up to support ambitious women-led social technology businesses. The programme is delivered by Nwes, the largest not-for-private-profit enterprise agency in the UK, in collaboration with founding partner Deutsche Bank, through its social enterprise programme Made for Good. The tech accelerator programme will support a total of 60 social tech businesses by 2020.
