Following an initial career in sales and marketing (fragrance & skincare), Steve set up a record label. This grew into an umbrella organisation managing the creative, manufacturing and distribution needs of twenty labels – one of the most influential global independents in the 90s. Steve’s interest in emerging digital technologies led him to sell his share of the business in 2000 and move in to digital consultancy, specialising in user centred web design. Helping grow Design UK agency from 20 to 50 employees with an diverse client base that included New Look, Mothercare & Speedo, the BBC, Reed, Thames Water & Said Business School, he refined his skills in the art and science of user experience (UX) design together with the nuances of consultative selling.
Striking out to work with people who want to make a difference to the world, he launched The BIG PITCHER. Specialising in presentation design, he uses a Customer Experience approach to accelerate the brand development process. Helping enterprises unwrap their business purpose (value and values) and translate big ideas in to a coherent narrative they become armed with a set of tools to engage, inspire and convert their audiences.
