Ruth Sacks is Principal Consultant, Boardroom Focus and Co-Founder and Programme Director, Raising Roofs

Boardroom Focus offers bespoke executive development and leadership programmes.

Ruth creates and delivers bespoke initiatives to encourage leadership effectiveness across the organisation. She works with individuals and teams to strengthen and enhance their skills and competences. Outcomes include more effective and engaged collaboration and performance.

Ruth has worked on a range of change projects in the UK, Europe and the USA. Clients have included HSBC, Barclays, Swissport, the NHS, Cadbury Trebor Basset, and The United Nations. She lived and worked in Paris for 14 years and speaks fluent French.

Ruth also created and directed the successful Women for the Board programme at Westminster Business School. Ruth is a Director at GreenSpring Educational Trust and Chair of the Performance & General Purposes Committee. Ruth also works with the University of Northumbria Business School and the University of Bedfordshire Business School delivering Leadership and Management programmes.

As co-founder and developer of Raising Roofs – Ruth is currently working on the 2019 leadership programme for the housing sector. The programme aims to prepare currently under-represented groups for board and senior management roles.

A regular speaker at conferences, Ruth also mentors on the We in Social Tech programme and for Women in Banking and Finance

When not working, she spends time with friends & family, goes to the theatre, and tries but fails to stay away from email.
