Maureen A. Salmon is the co-founder of Freshwaters Consultancy, and has been running her own business since 2020 in cultural, social enterprise, education and public sectors.  

Maureen Salmon is the founder of Freshwaters Consultancy – specialising in helping individuals, organisations and communities create sustainable futures.   She is an experienced consultant, facilitator, coach and educator specialising in leadership and management, entrepreneurship and professional development. Maureen works in an international arena and diversity is at the heart of her practice. The majority of clients are women particularly women of colour and include business, cultural, social entrepreneurs.

Alongside running Freshwaters, Maureen is also a senior lecturer at the University of the Arts London (UAL) in the Design School at LCC. She teaches on the EMBA Fashion at London College of Fashion, MA Arts and Cultural Enterprise at Central St Martins. She is a researcher on UAL’s Creative Lenses team -a project that seeks to make arts and cultural organisations more resilient, sustainable by improving their business models and developing long-term strategic and innovation capacities. Maureen is qualified and accredited in Emotional Intelligence Practitioner, qualified and experience in using Trait Emotional Intelligence and Team Emotional Intelligence

Maureen is a visiting professor at the International School of Management in Senegal.
