Dr Tianqi Li is an internationally recognised sustainability scientist with a decade’s experience in bridging the sustainability knowledge gap in policy and business practices, providing climate change advice and consultancy that maximises effective adaptation and drives positive change within companies, governments and non-profits.
She has an outstanding record in forming high-yield partnerships, leading program design, performance management, as well as driving strategic initiatives and evaluating their impact.
She advised HM government on industrial strategies, and the European Commission on setting Product Environmental Footprint (PEF) guidelines.
She judged on several business and enterprise awards, such as the Young Entrepreneurs Scheme (YES) and West London Business Awards. During her service at the London Mayor’s flagship cleantech incubator programme, Tianqi supported over 20 high impact cleantech companies and created supportive networks for companies in Europe, USA and Asia.
Tianqi has a wealth of knowledge in circular economy, climate change and sustainability related subjects, as well as cleantech innovation and commercialisation. She is a passionate advocate for female entrepreneurs.
Born in China, Tianqi holds two pharmaceutical patents and a PhD degree from Newcastle University.
