Training and Simulation/Gaming
Andy is a business owner, consultant, editor and a regular conference speaker and chair. His main focus is the training, simulation and gaming technology domain and he writes about and presents on the latest trends and market opportunities. In 2019 he was the project architect for an award winning project exploring the use of XR technology in support of team training with over 30 participants all in the same virtual world. Currently his principal role is the editor of a training and simulation publication but he also carries out consultancy for companies, large and small. Andy is a professional engineer with experience in both private and public sectors in a broad range of project management roles and is experienced at mentoring, interviewing and sitting on business grant panels. He has contributed to a number of events promoting women in technology and gaming, including in the Houses of Parliament, and he feels that it is imperative to promote many more women into the technology sector and provide support to overcome the barriers that exist in business and organisations in general.
